Every sign has a meaning.
Each piece carries one Sadu sign in a design we drew ourselves, with its meaning as the sources tell it.

A sign from Sadu
Al-Dalla
The coffee pot is one of the tree's signs. Our reading: generosity.

Al-Taraji
Al-Taraji are earrings; a woman's jewellery told of her standing.

Al-Nujum
Stars in Sadu are said to mark time, weather and the way.

Al-Hanbaliyya
A great diamond of five or more colours, rare because it takes so long to weave.

Al-Dalla
The coffee pot is one of the tree's signs. Our reading: generosity.
All year round
Essentials
Our seasons
We follow the seasons of the year, not sale seasons
A sign a day on our account
The craft
One sign on each piece
We never mix signs. Each piece carries one word from Sadu's language, with its meaning.
Machine embroidered in Sadu's colours
Each sign is machine embroidered in the threads closest to its own colours: kermes red, goat-hair black, the tones of wool and camel hair.
Made for you after you order
Nothing waits in a warehouse. Your piece is made after you order and usually arrives within 10–20 business days.
Al Sadu is the craft of Bedouin women, and we learn from it. Our machine embroidery is inspired by their weave; we never claim it is woven.
