What the sign means
Al-Musht

Motif meaning (Al-Musht): Alternating stripes like the teeth of a comb. Sources: Al-Najada, Folk Culture; Emarat Al Youm.
With respect for Al Sadu and the Bedouin women who have kept this craft alive across generations. Read more about the motifs on our Signs page.
The embroidery designs shown are original designs prepared by Sadu by miniblank, inspired by traditional Sadu motifs. They are not Sadu weaving and not handwoven products. The brand claims no right in the traditional Sadu motifs themselves; its rights are limited to its own designs. The embroidery is machine-made.
Alternating stripes like a comb's teeth, one of Sadu's edge patterns. On a warm corduroy cap for winter.
Material and embroidery
Cotton corduroy. The Al-Musht design, machine embroidered on the front of the cap in standard embroidery threads close to its own colours, within an area of about 10 × 4 cm.
